Hi, I'm Jen. I'm a reporter at Stateline, a news service that covers state policy. Stateline is a journalism project of The Pew Charitable Trusts in Washington, D.C.
I've been a journalist for about a decade, writing mainly about government, education and business. My work has appeared in The Washington Post, The Huffington Post, PBS News Hour, The Guardian, Governing, L.A. Times and other Tribune papers, and other state and newspapers across the country. Before joining Stateline, I was a reporter at The Frederick News-Post, a daily paper in Maryland, and before that at The Gazette, a weekly paper in the D.C. suburbs.
A Phoenix native, I have a journalism degree from Arizona State University. Still interested? Here's more.
